Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration - Live on stage at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. This will be a unique evening of classical performances of the songs of Jerry Garcia including Grateful Dead songs as well as songs written by Jerry Garcia outside of the Grateful Dead. All performed by a talented group of musicians and sung by fans of the Grateful Dead and Rock Music alike in a live concert setting with the intent to entertain each other.
We revisit the legendary songbook of Jerry Garcia with a fresh classical perspective in this tribute show. Our Symphonic Celebration features fan favorites such as "Ripple", "Friend of the Devil", "Sugaree", "Touch of Grey" and many more in a symphonic interpretation of songs chosen from throughout Jerry Garcia's songwriting career with the Grateful Dead as well as his work as a solo artist. The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration will include songs written by Jerry Garcia and performed by the Grateful Dead as well as songs from his solo studio work. Many of the songs from his last studio work in the studio with other musicians, the 1988 album 'So What', will be featured as well as songs from the posthumously released album 'After Midnight: Kean College, 2/28/80'. A Symphonic Celebration of Jerry Garcia's music is a fitting way to experience his songs.
